Canadian Kiko Goat Farm

About the Old Farm

On the left is the old farm and on the right is Walnut, just born this year.

The Canadian KIKO Goat Farm also known as the Old Farm was built in 1896, located 30 minutes North East of Bancroft along the breath taking Boulter Hills Scenic Route.

The Old Farm, owned and operated by Renate Carriere was purchased in June of 2003. This 195 acre farm consists of wooded areas, large pastures for livestock and hay fields naturally fertilized with goat manure. The main barn originally built in 1936 is home to our KIKO and BOER goats.

The KIKO meat goat is the breed of our choice.

We like the impressive characteristics of this breed: the hardiness, productivity, performance, efficiency and of course the rapid growth rate; kids generally reach the optimal weight in less time, which means more meat, hence higher revenues.

KIKO goats normally carry twins or triplets, this together with a higher conception rate and a longer breeding season makes for a very impressive fertility record.

Our main objective is to raise healthy, happy goats, showered with lots of tender loving care and

provide a good, healthy environment / home and natural remedies for healing discomforts or

illnesses.

In the newly renovated main house we sell Pizzas, Chicken Wings, baked goods and of course government inspected goat meat from goats raised on our farm.
